FATHER Christmas, also known as Santa Claus, has been around for many years. Since childhood, we have been made to believe that a white-haired and white-bearded man of Caucasian origin, who wears a red and white outfit, is the person who brings us gifts for Christmas.
Thus, Father Christmas and gifts have become synonymous.
