I wrote this on New Year’s Eve when I was feeling kind of low.
Not the kind of low that comes from having nowhere to go party or your TV being broken, but the kind that involves opening a newspaper or an online newsfeed and seeing how many human beings continue to be trash, with far too few of us doing anything to stand up to the trashiness.

Cyberbullying is the utilisation of electronic communication to harass a person, typically by calling or sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. It can ruin lives, damage self-confidence, and permanently slander someone’s reputation.

While greater minds than mine can debate the ups and downs of Operation Hornkrantz, I have to admit that seeing the vice president of the country posing for the camera in front of a table bedecked with various kinds of knives is disconcerting.
