Medical doctors under investigation for fraud

The Ministry of Finance has roped in the services of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate 35 medical doctors over claims that they defrauded the Public Service Employees Medical Aid Scheme (PSEMAS) by overcharging for services.

One of the latest scams making the rounds is the Solar Power System or Solar Panels for Your Home scam. 

The long-awaited fraud case involving Namibia Professional Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (NPBWCB) Chairperson, Ellison Hijarunguru, and his co-accused, Albert Rickerts will proceed on 21 April at the Katutura Regional Court, after it was transferred from the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court.
