Four inmates escape from Omega Police Station

Four inmates escaped from the Omega Police Station holding cells in the Kavango East Region on Friday, Namibian Police spokesperson, Kauna Shikwambi , has said.
The inmates are said to have climbed through a corridor window.
Two of the escapees - who are Batswana - were detained for poaching while the other two - Angolan nationals - were arrested for rape.
No arrests have been made so far and the search for the four men continues.
In another incident, a 70-year-old woman from Ndama settlement in Rundu was allegedly raped by a 39-year-old man on Saturday.
It is alleged that the suspect met the victim on her way home from a shebeen around 21h00, pushed her to the ground and had sexual intercourse with her without her consent.
