NEWS JUST IN: Namcor chairman Patrick Kauta resigns
10 October 2018
National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) board chairperson, Patrick Kauta, has resigned with immediate effect.
Kauta tendered his resignation letter to Mines and Energy Minister, Tom Alweendo, on Tuesday.
His resignation comes a few weeks after his brother, Rodger Kauta, also resigned as chairperson of the Namibia Airports Company (NAC) board.
Kauta’s resignation will be seen as victory for Namcor MD Imms Mulunga whom he did not see eye to eye over governance differences.
