The Windhoek Observer focuses on weddings

In response to popular suggestions from our readers, the upcoming June 9th edition of the Windhoek Observer will feature topics for couples planning to get married.

As a continuation of the Windhoek Observer’s month-long recognition of women of substance as a nod to International Women’s Day celebrated in March, in partnership with Namdeb we have been highlighting valuable diamond industry employees who are achieving successes every day in their professional and personal lives.

The Windhoek Observer’s (WO) continuing recognition of women of substance this month includes professional women working at Namdeb. We spotlight Tania Conry (TA), Assistant Buyer/Expeditor on capital projects in the Engineering Projects Department at Namdeb.

UNAM dominate netball tournament

The University of Namibia (UNAM) main netball team were crowned the overall winners of this year’s Khomas Region Opening Season Tournament, played on Saturday, 19 March at the Khomasdal Netball Court in Windhoek.

NPL to start on 12 May

The Namibia Premier League (NPL) is set to start on 12 May, after months of inaction, due to financial constraints, the Windhoek Observer has established.
