Capricorn Group Financial Officer, Jaco Esterhuyse, believes that the company’s operations in Botswana and Zambia are primed for growth in the near future.
The Capricorn Group - the holding company of Bank Windhoek - says it has no immediate plans to invest in other countries in the region outside Namibia, Botswana and Zambia.
Capricorn Holdings, which owns lender Bank Windhoek, has acquired a 30 percent stake in telecommunication and technology company, Nimbus Infrastructure Limited.

Capricorn lauds GIPF impact on group

The Capricorn Group, the holding company of Bank Windhoek, says the balance sheet strength of new shareholder, the Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF), will bolster the group, which now has liquid assets valued at N$1 billion.
