Mwoombola back in office

01 August 2017 Author
Ministry of Health and Social Services Permanent Secretary, Andreas Mwoombola, has resumed his duties, Secretary to Cabinet George Simataa announced on Tuesday.
This comes two weeks after Simataa announced Mwoombola’s suspension to allow unhindered investigations into allegations of tender irregularities levelled against the PS.
In a statement, Simataa said Mwoombola had been allowed to return to work after preliminary investigations were completed.
He, however, did not say whether the permanent secretary had been cleared of the allegations against him.
